Wing Wa Restaurant and Lounge in Depoe Bay

Great food, Great service, Great Portions.. We loved every bit of our dining experience here. My faith in BBQ pork has been restored here, it was moist, flavourful, delicious. Will definitely return here next time I'm in the area.

Service was amazing. Thought my husband and I would feel out of place. Customers were friendly. Bartender was nice. Really good food. Definitely will stop by next time we're in town!

Well where do I start? My husband ordered food to go, in the bar downstairs (should have been the first red flag) when he brought it home, we found that one item wasn't even what we ordered let alone we couldn't tell what it was. All of the food had no flavor. When my husband called the restaurant to let them know about the mix up and the quality of food the person who answered the phone, tried to argue that it was what he ordered and never once said she was sorry. I don't usually comment on these things but it really was that bad.

Great Chinese food. It is open late sometimes 2-3 am in the bar. Get take out, pick it up, and go. You will thank me this is a local hang out and sometimes gets interesting. However, the food is to good to pass up there is a reason all the locals go there and it's not because it's the only place open late.

They was awesome as a bartender server food was amazing definitely recommend for late night or even during the day open till 2:30 in the morning which is nice when we arrived late.

After a long day, tired from beach hopping... BEST Chinese food ever. Fast service. Got mine to go (hotel next door) But live music on a Sunday evening... Had I not been exhausted (and sunburned) eating in would have worth it. Great atmosphere. Just go. You'll see.

Would have put 0 stars if we could have.We ate there once and it was horrible.....we always give a place a second chance because anyplace can have an off day.Sad to say it was just as horrible.The food had no taste..the texture was awful....orange chicken was just a pile of soggy mush.Best part of whole thing was the prepackaged fortune cookie

Ate here with my Mom when on vacation in Depot Bay, not once but twice. We are both Chinese food snobs, and this is one of the best places either of us have eaten at hands down. Mom's from CA, I'm from WA so we have eaten in a lot of chinese restaurants! First night the "restaurant" upstairs was not open so we ate in the bar. Great service, Great People, GREAT food! The last night we ate upstairs, not busy at all which was surprising, the bar was busy. Still GREAT everything but we will eat in the bar on our next trip, great atmosphere. My Mom will be 80 this Nov and she LOVED it. Thanks Wing Wa's......hey do you deliver!!

No soup or tea. Service was good and the food came fast and was quite good! The bar was hopping and everyone was into the karaoke!

This place was a blast! Karaoke going on everyone was singing along! Drinks were cheap and heavy and the fried rice is way too worth it! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for something casual and fun.

Fun Karaoke on Sat night. Michael the Karaoke guy a little weird, but a cool guy. We had a fun night! Watch out for the weird racist guy who doesn't like Latinos or Mexicans. He's a regular there. He thought he could bully my sister, but he's a lame. Lol

If you are passing through Depoe Bay, Oregon and craving for some Chinese food and a cold frosty long neck, pull into Wing Wa just north of town. It's a small cozy bar with a Hawaiian Tiky feel. The locals here are friendly. If your into fishing, you might even meet one of the boat captains here. If karaoke is your thing, then come in Friday and Saturday nights, Thursdays in the summer. There is karaoke with one if not the largest selection of karaoke songs on the coast. The menu is short, I will say that, but the food is great and the chef cooks up plenty. Great place to hang after a day of fishing or whale watching.

Restaurant was closed due to the parking lot being worked on. Had to go to the lounge. Not comfortable going into bars. The last behind the counter made it a pleasant experience. The food was GREAT.

This is your perfect Chinese restaurant. Its old and classic. Upstairs is an entire dining area with spectacular views of the ocean and town. Food was what one would expect (American stlyle Chinese) the woman upstairs was friendly and sincere. Then you gotta love the dark cave downstairs! The machines pay out, always available seats (6). The bartender could literally care LESS if you died. But he pays the cash and pops the bottles.

The place has really taken a dive downhill. It used ro bw the center of town and the "go to watering hole" for locals. I used to walk in the Tiki bar and could find work, make friends and enjoy a strong drink. These days the place seems to have been overrun by local "cilques" that are often intimidating if yoy walk in during happy hour and dont know anyone. The old Karaoke DJ, Mike has left and not sure who has replaced him. The owners are still friends of mine and will pour you a great drink well worth your money! The food can be good but its sometimes unpredictable. Its just not the same anymore.

Love the DJ and crowd at Wing Was Karaoke. Best group of people and place to go for fun. Singing and a warm welcome. Food is great too.

Best happy hour on the Central Oregon Coast. Great food generally available till one A.M. or so & can be packed to go. What can be better than Chinese Food in front of the tube at 1 A.M.?

The restaurant is closed. We were ok eating in the bar. I would not recommend bringing children. It is a bar. Server/hostess acted annoyed. Staff too busy setting up Halloween decorations. We ordered. Food has no taste. Lemon chicken was fried perfectly. Lemon sauce had no flavor. Server never checked on us again. Had to interrupt their decorating for a drink refill. Disappointed. Will not be back.

This is one of those places where you just go in with low expectations, and as long as you do that you will not be disappointed.

Really awful Chinese food. Greasy and nothing like the Chinese I get from any other restaurant. I have tried it three time and with three different dishes and will not do it again. This is by no means the "best" Chinese food. YUCK.Only reason I would go back is for their bar with great karaoke.

I love a good dive bar, but when we all walked in i have to say this had a very weird vibe. 2 people inside on a Friday night and silent. Also, the Chinese menu doesn't fit the decor, i thought maybe they just got the Chinese food from a restaurant next door to the bar, until i realized this was the Chinese restaurant. Might be worth going just to say you checked it out.

Reasonable portions and pricing (especially for a beach town)General Tso and Sweet and Sour chicken were made with crispy chicken, and had tasty sauces. Very different from my normal style, but would eat again anytime.

An unexpected pleasure! Dave was an excellent bartender and waiter. I took him by surprise with my drink order, and he nailed it. We ordered late night food which was prepared almost to perfection (the pork loin was not hot). He did not have cocktail sauce, but his substitute sauce was fabulous. It was karaoke night, amd the crowd was a little rambunctious for us out-of-towners, but it was worth the stop. Ask for Dave, and he will definitely make a great food suggestion!
